FUBARA: MY SPIRIT NO LONGER IN GOVT HOUSE

Suspended Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State has revealed that his spirit has already left the Government House, hinting at his disconnection from the current state of affairs.

Fubara warned that some actions taken by his supporters have worsened his situation, emphasizing the need for a more strategic and less confrontational approach to resolving the ongoing political crisis.

The suspended governor distanced himself from calls for his reinstatement made by some speakers at a recent event, describing such comments as personal opinions that may not promote peace.

Fubara cautioned that “not everything is by oshogbe,” suggesting that impulsive actions may not be the best solution to the current crisis. He emphasized the need for a thoughtful and strategic approach to resolving the issues at hand.

The suspended governor made these remarks during a service of songs in honour of elder statesman Edwin Clark in Port Harcourt, where some speakers had referred to him as “Governor” and criticized his suspension, calling for its immediate reversal.
