HOW DO YOU HANDLE LIFE CHALLENGES?

When life frowns at us, it shows itself as a place where we can’t find our succor. Life can be challenging and frustrating sometimes. It is important to note that even life challenges meant good for us sometimes and not all of us can stand it.

Many people who died today, died because life frowns at them and they think the end has come. Truthfully speaking, challenges of life make us think that the end has come.

How should a man who has been eating trice a day survive when the challenges of life came and took two times off his meals per day? How should a millionaire handle the challenges of life that make him to beg for food? How should a house owner handle the challenge of life that makes him sleep on the street?

Not all who are challenged by life survives it; many people died of life challenges. Not all of us can be like Job, a millionaire who lost everything he had in just a day. Not all of us can be like Lazarus, a pauper who eats only crumbs from the rich man’s table. Not all of us can be like Abraham, a man who has everything but has no child.

A woman got into debt in a particular state in Nigeria when life frowns at her. She lost everything and by the day, her debt kept increasing. This woman was frustrated and the next thing she did was to burn herself.

Eli in the Bible couldn’t survive the news of the death of his sons, he died immediately. A woman ran mad instantly when she heard that her only child is dead. A woman became paralysed and unstable mentally when life challenges came.

When life challenged me, I cry each day of my life. I see people I love in pains and I was completely helpless. It was tough, I was lost in thoughts. At time, I couldn’t control my tears while walking on the street. I almost lost my precious life and health.

I am convinced that life challenges can be deadly and that many have lost their lives through it. Many are in bad health conditions today because life challenged them.

The truth is that life challenges, if not terrestrially influenced, meant no bad for us sometimes. God has His intentions when He programmed life to challenge us. Unfortunately, not many of us have the understanding of this, not many of us have the health capacity to withstand the challenges of life, and not many of us have the mental capacity to handle it.

I know how life can be hard at us, even if I haven’t tasted the hardest of the challenges of life; the one I tasted made me understand what those who are passing through the hardest may be going through. However, there’s a good news, the good news is that Jesus still saves, He wants to save you, He’s interested in saving you and He’s ready to save you.

Whatever you’re passing through is not above the saving power of God. God is loving and He wants to express His love to you in this your tough period. Don’t think of suicide, don’t think of running away, and don’t think of ritual, think about Jesus, the one who can save. Cry to Him and He will save you. He saved me, He’ll save you.
