Inspiration 100.5 FM Ibadan has just terminated the appointments of all members of staff.
Inspiration 100.5 FM is a radio station in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. The station covers audience who are residents of Ibadan, Ogun, Osun and Oyo State.
Inspiration FM is a family radio station that caters to the needs of many of the key demographics represented within the family.
Inspiration, as the name implies, is a divinely originated concept that incorporates ideas, music and information intended to uplift the spirit of the listener and encourage interaction for purposeful living.
Its current broadcast space cuts across South West, South South, and Lagos from its locations in Lagos, Oyo and Akwa Ibom States.
Inspiration FM is owned by Dr. Erastus Bankole Oladipo Akingbola
It will be recalled that the radio station had once, reportedly, terminated the appointments of about 85 percent of her staff members in October 2023, which was later looked into by the Oyo State National Union of Journalists, NUJ.
Reacting to this recent development, citizens have taken to different comment sections to express their displeasure about the development.
Alimi Hammed Olakunke wrote: “ I don’t get, they stop operation or what?”
Callystus Cally opined : “Maybe they couldn’t compete.”
