IYA RAINBOW’S OPEN LETTER TO GOD

Veteran Nollywood actress, Idowu Phillips, better known as Mama Rainbow, has penned an open letter of gratitude to God.

The ace actress recently took to her Instagram page to share the heartfelt letter alongside footage from her 82nd birthday photoshoot in October.

In the letter, Mama Rainbow appreciated God for her life, acknowledging His guidance and protection since her birth in 1942.

“Dear Heavenly Father, I come before You with a heart full of gratitude and humility. Thank You for saving my life and guiding me through every moment since 1942 until this very day,” she wrote.

Mama Rainbow also expressed gratitude to God for His unwavering presence, love, and mercy, which have sustained her through every trial and triumph.

“Your grace, love, and mercy have sustained me through every trial and triumph. Thank You, Father, for Your unwavering presence, for lifting me when I was weak, and for blessing me with the strength to keep moving forward. I am forever grateful for Your protection and faithfulness,” she added.

Mama Rainbow’s post attracted reactions from fans and fellow celebrities, who joined her in thanking God for her long and fruitful life.

Philips was born on October 16, 1942. She is from Ijebu Ode, a city in Ogun state.
