MERCY AIGBE LIFTED BY NOMINATION

Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Mercy Aigbe Adeoti, is over the moon as her 2024 movie “Thinline” has been nominated for an Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award (AMVCA).

The nomination was recently announced by the organizers of the 11th edition of the award.

Actress Uche Montana has been nominated for Best Lead Actress for her outstanding performance in “Thinline”, a movie produced by Mercy Aigbe.

Taking to her Instagram page, Mercy expressed her excitement and congratulations to Uche Montana on her well-deserved nomination.

Mercy described “Thinline” as a masterpiece and praised Uche Montana for doing justice to her role as Annie. She expressed hope that Uche would win the award with God’s help and the support of her fans.

This is not Mercy Aigbe’s first foray into cinema production. Her debut film, “Ada Omo Daddy”, was well-received by Nigerians and grossed over N187 million at the box office. Her second film, “Thinline”, also achieved success, grossing over N100 million.

As a filmmaker, Mercy Aigbe has expressed her joy in knowing that her movies resonate with people and evoke emotions. Her latest nomination is a testament to her hard work and dedication to the craft.

The AMVCA awards ceremony is set to take place soon, and fans of Mercy Aigbe and Uche Montana are eagerly awaiting the outcome.
