MOVIE INDUSTRY PROVIDES MONEY, POVERTY, AKIN LEWIS

Veteran Nollywood actor, Akin Lewis, has said that being well educated has helped his level of exposure in the movie industry.

He said this in a recent interview where he disclosed that all his colleagues who started acting together with him are dead.

His words: “I am a well educated person and that is what helped my level of exposure in the movie industry.

“In this job, there is money and there is poverty because when actors make a lot of money from movies they spend it lavishly.

“There is no pension in our job, so it is important to develop a saving habit for the future, so that even when the actor is sick, he will be able to take care of himself.

“I started my acting career a long time ago with the likes of Olumide Bakare and some other colleagues, all my colleagues that we started acting together are dead, I am the only one left.”
