MY GOD IS A CONSUMING FIRE, ADEBOYE

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), recently addressed his critics during the monthly Holy Ghost service themed “Shielded by Fire” at The Redemption City of God.

In his sermon, he warned those who mock him and the mission, reminding them that his God is a consuming fire.

Adeboye emphasized his own vulnerability and insignificance, stating that his strength and wisdom come from God alone.

He pointed out that even the Apostle Paul, who wrote more than half of the New Testament, considered himself less than the least of the saints.

The cleric highlighted the importance of humility and God’s power, saying, “Adeboye is nothing but his God is the All-sufficient God.

So there is nothing spectacular. There is no big deal if you mock Pastor Adeboye. He deserves to be mocked.

The word of God made it abundantly clear. Anyone that God will use must be weak, foolish, and a nobody, so that only God will take the glory.”

Pastor Adeboye also addressed the recent criticism of the RCCG and other religious institutions, asking thought-provoking questions about stereotyping and the actions of individuals within a group.

He emphasized that the actions of a few should not be used to judge the entire community.

The sermon touched upon Nigeria’s economic challenges, including the increase in fuel price and electricity tariff.

Adeboye expressed concern over the situation and called for more prayers for the country and its leaders. He urged Nigerians not to be discouraged and to continue praying for the nation’s betterment.

During the sermon, Pastor Adeboye also shared his thoughts on the state of Nigeria’s economy and the recent hike in the prices of essential commodities.

He encouraged his congregation to remain steadfast in their faith and to trust in God’s protection, even in the face of adversity.

The Redeemed Christian Church of God, under the leadership of Pastor Adeboye, has consistently emphasized the importance of prayer and faith in overcoming challenges.

The “Shielded by Fire” Holy Ghost service provided an opportunity for members to come together and seek God’s guidance and protection amidst the ongoing economic and social issues in Nigeria.

Pastor Adeboye’s message serves as a reminder of the power of faith and humility in the face of adversity.

As the nation grapples with economic challenges, the RCCG continues to call upon its members to remain steadfast in their faith and to trust in God’s divine intervention.
