NBC HOLDS LEADERSHIP SESSION

A high-level session on Leadership and Strategic Management was held with the Board of Management of the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), led by Canadian-based Chancellor and leadership expert, Mr. Ayo Owodunni.

Mr. Owodunni’s presentation focused on strengthening the Commission’s strategic approach, highlighting the importance of clarity, communication, and direction in regulatory institutions. He emphasized the need for adaptability, leadership development, and proactive models that drive performance and accountability.

Using real-life case studies, Mr. Owodunni demonstrated the impact of leadership on organizational outcomes, stressing the value of continuous learning, emotional intelligence, and collaboration.

The Director-General, Mr. Charles Ebuebu, noted that the presentation aligns with the Commission’s goals, reinforcing a strong leadership culture across Directorates.

The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, exploring ways to integrate new strategies into the Commission’s reforms.

Attended by Board of Management and other senior staff members of the Commission, the event was deemed timely and impactful, setting the tone for improved performance.
