NBC, NTA TO PARTNER

In a bid to foster partnership and collaboration with the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA, the Director General National Broadcasting Commission, NBC, Mr Charles Ebuebu paid a courtesy visit on the Director General, Nigerian Television Authority, Comrade Salihu Abdulhamid Dembos, at NTA headquarters in Abuja, on Tuesday 26th March 2024.

Mr. Charles Ebuebu, while speaking on the purpose of the visit, noted, that the visit was not based on a licensee/ regulator relationship, but more of partnership and collaboration.

He added that there was a need for the NBC and  NTA to synergize in order to advance the interest of the audience which will contribute to the development of the broadcast industry through content production and technological advancement.

Speaking further, he stated that the partnership between NBC and NTA was not just a collaboration between two entities, but a testament to the shared commitment to excellence, integrity, and public interest.

In his remarks the DG, NTA expressed how honoured he was to receive the DG, NBC, and the Board of Management.

He reminded the team of the critical role the National Broadcasting Commission plays in the Broadcasting landscape as a regulatory body in ensuring, that the broadcasting industry in Nigeria remains vibrant, ethical and reflective of our National values.

Comrade Dembos further added that the Nigerian Television Authority is ready to partner with the National Broadcasting Commission for the development of the Broadcast industry in Nigeria.
