NBC VISITS LATE OFFICER’S FAMILY

The Director General of the National Broadcasting Commission, NBC, Mr. Charles Ebuebu, represented by the Director, Investigation and Enforcement, Dr. Chibuike Ogunmike, recently paid a condolence visit to the family of late Mr. Akeem Olatunji Ayo.

Mr. Akeem, who was the Kwara state officer, National Broadcasting Commission, was knocked down by a reckless driver on Thursday, February 6, 2025. He died from his injuries.

In his condolence message to the family, Mr. Ebuebu expressed his deepest condolences over the demise of Mr. Akeem. He pointed out that Akeem was a valued colleague whose dedication, kindness, and warm smile would be deeply missed. Stressing further that, Akeem was known for his exceptional qualities and unwavering dedication to the progress of the Commission.

Concluding, the DG, on behalf of the Management and Staff of the Commission, extended his heartfelt condolences to Akeem’s family, loved ones, and friends. His memories, he added, will live on in our hearts.

Mr. Akeem Olatunji Ayo, a practicing Muslim, has since been laid to rest, according to Islamic rites.

He is survived by his wife, three children, and several family members.
