NEWS CENTRAL TV BAGS PRESTIGIOUS AWARD

News Central, a Nigerian independent 24-hour news and media television channel based in Lagos, has been recognized as the ‘Fastest Growing Broadcast Station of the Year 2024’ at the annual Independent Awards held in Lagos last Saturday.

This prestigious award solidifies News Central’s position as a leader in delivering impactful journalism across Africa and beyond. According to the station’s management, the award acknowledges News Central’s dedication to excellence in storytelling, investigative reporting, and amplifying underrepresented voices.

The event also honored several dignitaries, high net-worth individuals, and captains of industries for their outstanding contributions to the Nigerian polity. These notable individuals included the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Oluseyi Makinde; the Executive Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa; and Otunba Mike Adenuga Jr, Chairman of Globacom.
