According to multiple reports, including Rai Sport and Calciomercato.it, Osimhen has agreed in principle to a contract offering €40 million per season. This salary is four times his current earnings at Napoli and significantly surpasses offers from European clubs like Chelsea, who proposed around €10 million per year.
Al-Ahli has also submitted a transfer bid to Napoli, reportedly in the range of €70–80 million. While Napoli had previously set a €130 million release clause in Osimhen’s contract, the club appears open to negotiations at a lower fee.
The proposed contract includes a release clause that would allow Osimhen to return to European football from 2025 onwards, providing flexibility for future career moves.
Osimhen’s decision comes amid interest from several top European clubs, including Manchester United, Chelsea, and Galatasaray. However, the financial terms offered by Al-Ahli have reportedly outmatched those from European suitors.
As of now, the finalization of the transfer depends on the agreement between Al-Ahli and Napoli regarding the transfer fee. Should the deal go through, Osimhen would join the ranks of high-profile players who have made moves to the Saudi Pro League in recent years.
