The cleric shared his remarks during a prophetic session published on his official Facebook page on Sunday, April 19, 2026, where he discussed possible political alignments, candidate selection, and succession dynamics within the state’s ruling political structure.
In his message, Ayodele focused on the political direction of Oyo State under Governor Seyi Makinde and the potential implications of future choices regarding who may succeed him or be supported by the political establishment.
He warned that certain decisions within the ruling camp could have significant consequences at the polls.
He specifically referenced the possibility of a political arrangement involving Debo Ogundoyin, suggesting that such a move could negatively impact electoral fortunes if it becomes the preferred strategy.
In his words, “if Seyi Makinde brings out Debo Ogundoyin, just say bye-bye; you can’t get it,” implying that such a decision could alter the outcome of the governorship contest.
According to the cleric, the selection of candidates and the internal decisions made by political parties will play a decisive role in determining success in the state’s future elections.
He stressed that in a politically active and competitive environment like Oyo State, misjudgments in candidate endorsement could weaken a party’s chances significantly.
