TINUBU PRAISES SANWO-OLU AT 60

President Bola Tinubu has extended warm birthday wishes to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State as he marks his 60th birthday, applauding his dedication to the state’s progress.

In a statement issued on Wednesday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President lauded Sanwo-Olu as a committed public servant who has remained focused on the vision of transforming Lagos into a modern metropolis.

“Your commitment to this vision is evident in the successful completion of major projects such as the Blue and Red Rail lines, and your ongoing work on the Purple Line, which will serve the crucial Lekki corridor,” Tinubu noted.

He urged the governor to sustain the momentum by focusing on projects that have direct impact on the lives of residents. These include the long-anticipated Fourth Mainland Bridge and the Freedom Way–VGC Road.

The President also wished Sanwo-Olu continued good health and many more years in service to Lagos and the nation.

The statement also recalled Sanwo-Olu’s long-standing relationship with the President, noting that he began his political journey under Tinubu’s mentorship and had held several key positions in Lagos State, including multiple commissioner roles and as Managing Director of the Lagos State Property Development Corporation (LSPDC).
