TOYIN THANKS COLLEAGUES FOR HER LIFE

Award-winning filmmaker and actress, Toyin Abraham has appreciated some of her colleagues who stood by her during her early days in the industry.

Toyin’s appreciation follows a public reconciliation with Funke Akindele and Mercy Aigbe, where she extended an olive branch to mend past differences.

Hours after that, she compiled a list to acknowledge individuals who played pivotal roles in her journey to fame.

Accompanied by a heartfelt message, Toyin shared a photo, recognising those who offered guidance, opportunities, and unwavering support during the nascent stages of her career.

The Ijakumo star said they made her journey filled with experience and easy to navigate.

Toyin Abraham mentioned the likes of Fathia Williams, Saidi Balogun, Opeyemi Aiyeola, Muyiwa Ademola, Femi Adebayo, Me Muyideen among others.

She specifically thanked Iyabo Ojo for making her journey a beautiful one, while also extending gratitude to the marketers, producers, and directors who put their sweat and blood to see them excel.

The box office actress, however, apologised for not being able to mention all names but assured them that she’s appreciative of them.

She wrote: “Today, as I begin the week. I cast my mind back to those who made the journey of my life easier. Those God sent my way to guide, open doors for me, pick me up, and were there for me, especially in the early days of the Yoruba movie industry.

“From Aunty Bukky, Aunty Faithia, Uncle Saidi, Aunty Ope, Uncle Muyiwa, bro femi, Mr. Muyideen, Aunty Bisi, Bro Afeez, bro Bayo, my colleagues and those who were friends in those days to Aunty Iyabo, you made my journey quite an experience. The marketers, producers, and directors who put in the money and sweat and some of their blood, without you, we wouldn’t know the industry could be this big. Thank you.
