YEMI SOLADE APPLAUDS CHIOMA, AJEYEMI

Veteran Nollywood actor, Yemi Solade, has applauded the performances of Chioma Akpotha, Kolawole Ajeyemi and Muyiwa Ademola in Femi Adebayo’s new netflix series, Seven Doors.

On Sunday, Yemi shared a clip of Chioma Akpotha’s scene from the series on Instagram, describing her interpretation as exceptional.

He wrote, “Chioma Chukwuka-Akpotha… Hmmmmmm! What can I type to describe her totalitarianism in serving us her role as a very dutiful, loving, responsible, responsive, caring, mature, disciplined, progressive, supportive and highly committed wife in this epochal TV series?”

Reflecting on their previous collaboration, Yemi noted, “She once played my wife in Battle Royal, a movie shot many years ago.

“I was ignited by her imbued talent as a method actor of inestimable value… She is ‘EVERGREEN and SEASONED’… the type made for the BIG SCREEN… to conquer the film universe.”

In his previous posts, he celebrated Kolawole Ajeyemi’s portrayal in the series, calling it “esoteric, colossal, gargantuan, almost larger-than-life” and praised Muyiwa Ademola for his consistent delivery, saying, “He cooked and served the world a 5-STAR menu in his role in Seven Doors like his life depended on it.”

In Seven Doors, Chioma shines as Queen Amaka, a resourceful and steadfast queen whose strength lies in navigating palace intrigues.

Muyiwa delivers a nuanced performance as Oba Adedunjoye, a conflicted king torn between duty and personal struggles, while Kolawole embodies the tyrannical King Adejuwon of the Old Ilara Kingdom, portraying a gripping royal saga set in 18th-century Ilara.

The series, which debuted on Netflix on December 13, has garnered praise from viewers for its compelling storyline, characters and performances.
