FUNKE ADEJUMO: BETWEEN MOTIVATION AND THE GOSPEL BY OLUSOLA AGBALU.

I have listened to Funke Adejumo for years, and her message has always sounded more like motivational speaking than the true gospel of Christ. The gospel is the good news of the Kingdom of God, rooted in righteousness, repentance, and holy living, with eternity in view. These truths are clearly laid out in the Bible.

Unfortunately, people like Funke Adejumo have misled many with messages driven by personal interest rather than the pure gospel. The result is a distortion of Christianity—one that promotes self, comfort, and image, while abandoning accountability and truth.

Funke recently claimed that a Muslim cleric told her that Christians expose their pastors who misbehave. That statement alone exposes the hypocrisy.

How can pastors who have slept with multiple women in their churches be protected under the guise of “covering”? What kind of gospel justifies silence in the face of abuse and immorality?

Funke Adejumo, this is not seriousness—it is deception. You quote scriptures out of context to defend atrocities committed by you and other pastors, while the name of Christ is dragged through the mud.

The gospel does not protect sin. It confronts it.
And any pastor who cannot stand correction, accountability, and truth has no business standing on the pulpit.
