ANIKE OBOT ON WHY SHE’S DENIED ROLES

Veteran Nollywood actress Anike Obot has revealed some of the reasons producers stopped giving her movie roles, while also stating how he was asked to slap an actor who was an herbalist in real life.

In a video that was posted on the official YouTube channel of Kunleafodtv during an interview with Kunle Afod, she disclosed that producers stopped giving her movie roles because she refused to slap one of her colleagues on a movie set who was an herbalist in real life.

In her statement, she said, “One of the actors invited me for a movie and told me that I would act out the movie alongside a colleague who was an herbalist.

“I was instructed to give him a slap on the movie set, but I was surprised because I never expected such an order.

“Producers stopped giving me movie roles when I refused to slap a herbalist on a movie set.”
