CAN, PFN ARE POLITICAL GROUPS, PRIMATE

Primate Babatunde Ayodele, the Founder/Spiritual Head of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, with headquarters at Oke-Afa, Lagos, has said that the Christians Association of Nigeria (CAN) and its affiliates like the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) are nor spiritual bodies.

Addressing a large assemblage of journalists at his church in an event meant to mark his 30 years of prophetic ministry spanning from 1994 to 2024, Primate Ayodele, said the church groups are political associations masquerading as the body of Christ.

Answering a question on how the church is faring in today’s Nigeria, Primate Ayodele said: “They are political and not spiritual entities.

“They are money making organizations and are not ordained by God.”

According to him, the leaders of the Christian associations are working for any government in power, and do not empower anybody from what they make.

He said as the nation’s economic situation is, one would have expected CAN and the other Christian bodies to have established what can engage people with the huge amount they make.

Primate Ayodele said: “They buy helicopters and jets, claiming that they are doing evangelism. They go to mega cities, like the U.S, claiming they are doing healing, just to make money.

“They have turned the church into a comedy. Pastors are contributing to the problems in our nation and in the world.

“I don’t need to know anybody or any businessman. But, I am comfortable. They are hiding the truth. I thank God and I thank you (the media) for your support.”

He said he does not need to belong to any of the groups under CAN because they are not spiritual and do not support the needy, even as he maintained that he has been impacting on anyone that comes his way since 30 years ago, and that he does not need to go to any politician for assistance as he is comfortable.

On his new book of prophecy (2024/2025), he urged journalists to pick anything from it and write, whether they are good or bad.
