ENIOLA BADMUS FIRES BACK AT FUNKE AKINDELE

Nollywood actress turned politician, Eniola Badmus, has reacted to a playful but controversial claim made by her close friend and colleague, Funke Akindele, which has since sparked conversations online.

In a now-viral video making the rounds on social media, Funke Akindele jokingly accused Eniola Badmus of spending government funds on expensive jewellery. The comment, though made in jest, quickly caught the attention of fans and critics alike, with many debating the implications of such a statement.

Eniola Badmus wasted no time in setting the record straight. Responding firmly, she dismissed the claim and clarified that she has no government money in her possession. According to her, all her luxury items are self-funded, earned through years of hard work in the entertainment industry and other personal ventures.
She further emphasized that many of the jewellery pieces and designer bags she flaunts are locally made, proudly supporting Nigerian brands rather than splurging public funds as suggested in the joke.
