FRCN APPOINTS NEW MANAGERS

 Alhaji Abdulwahab Akoshile has been appointed as the General Manager of Radio Nigeria, Bond FM, Lagos operations.

The appointment, which is with immediate effect, was conveyed to him directly by the Director General of Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN, Dr Muhammed Bulama yesterday in Abuja.

Untill his appointment, Alhaji Akoshile was the General Manager of Radio Nigeria Harmony FM, Idofian, Kwara State.

In an address at a meeting with members of management of Harmony FM, Alhaji Akoshile expressed appreciation to the various heads of departments and staff for the support given him during tenure and appealed to them to sustain the cordial relationship with the new administration.

Before his deployment to Harmony FM, in 2021, he was the Head of Department, News and Current Affairs at Bond FM, FRCN Lagos Operations.

Meanwhile, Hajia Binta Abubakar-Mora has assumed office as the General Manager of Radio Nigeria – Harmony FM, Idofian Kwara State.

Prior to her assumption, Hajia Abubakar-Mora, a professional broadcaster, was the Head of Department, Programmes of Harmony FM.

She is also the present Vice Chairperson, Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Kwara State Council and had served as a two term Chairperson, Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, Kwara State.

In an acceptance speech, Hajia Abubakar-Mora gave glory to Almighty Allah for the elevation and pledged to build on the legacies of past administrations.

With the development, Hajia Kuburat Sampsondeen is now the Head of Department, Programmes at Harmony FM.
