FUNKE AKINDELE PREACHES ‘POWER OF SELF BELIEF’

Frontline Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Funke Akindele, has opened up on the hard times she experienced before rising to stardom.

Funke Akindele shared a video of herself being active on the set of her highest grossing in billion movie, A Tribe Called Judah, on her Instagram page.

She spoke about how the film depicts the present challenges of single mothers in raising children in the society.

She counted herself as an example of believing in oneself, saying she faced different challenges but learned to stand tall and encourage others because of them.

The box office queen also encouraged her followers to continue inspiring the next generation of women.

She wrote, “Taking you back to the Set of A Tribe Called Judah. This film depicts the challenges faced by most single mothers in raising their children in the society of today.

“My journey to where I am today is a testament to the power of self-belief and community. I’ve faced challenges, but with every obstacle, I’ve learned to stand taller and encourage those around me. Let’s continue inspiring the next generation of powerful women. You have what it takes!”

A few days ago, Funke Akindele called for orderliness amidst the continuous bullying of her colleague Toyin Abraham by netizens and overzealous fans.

She pleaded for love and kindness and urged everyone to be kind with their words as it can make or break anyone who is being spoken to.

She spoke about the struggle of others and encouraged that words should be spoken or written to lift, encourage and support others.

Akindele specifically appealed to her fans to ignore negativity and create a supportive community where everyone can be loved and valued.
