IYABO OJO SLAMS NAIRA MARLEY WITH 1BILLION NAIRA SUIT

Popular Nigerian actress, Iyabo Ojo, has hit back at rapper Naira Marley, also known as Azeez Fashola, filing a N1 billion lawsuit accusing him of intentionally deceiving the public.

This move comes after Naira Marley’s legal team served Iyabo Ojo a N500 million lawsuit for alleged character defamation, demanding a public apology.

However, Iyabo Ojo, in response, criticized the rapper’s legal team for not delivering the lawsuit personally and opting to share it online instead.

In the legal document, Ojo’s lawyers state, “Our client finds your client’s demands spurious and clout chasing,” and goes on to claim damages of N1 billion for misleading the public and causing harm that led to income loss and tarnished reputation.

Sharing the legal letter, Ojo expressed her disappointment in a social media post, stating, “I look forward to hearing from them in no distant time.”
