K1 DEBUNKS DIVORCE RUMOUR

Fuji music legend, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as KWAM1, has debunked rumours of trouble in his marriage to Emmanuella Ropo.

In an exclusive interview with journalist Stella Dimoko Korkus, the 68-year-old musician clarified that there is no crisis, just a need for personal and professional focus.

“I do not have any problem with Emmanuella,” he said. “The only issues that come up in relationships are usually about expectations or rules. But there’s no fight or separation.”

KWAM1 revealed he deliberately took a step back from the public eye to concentrate on a major resort project currently under construction, calling it a lifelong dream that requires his full attention.

“I told my wife to also stay off social media and focus on her business. That’s what I’ve done too,” he explained.

When asked to clarify which wife he meant, KWAM1 was emphatic: “Emmanuella is my only wife right now.”

He acknowledged that differing priorities may have sparked speculation. “Maybe she didn’t like my approach, and that’s fine. But at this point in my life, I can’t play games. We have children in the university. Social media shouldn’t be our focus.”

On whether other women may have stirred tension, he remarked calmly: “They say women are jealous, isn’t that natural?”

He declined to confirm or deny any future plans to take another wife.

KWAM1 maintained that there is no separation, adding, “Emmanuella remains my wife. The issue is focus, not drama.”
