In a move aimed at strengthening its commercial and communications strategy, News Central TV has announced the appointment of Rosemary Egabor-Afolahan as its new Director of Commercial and Communications.

This promotion recognizes Egabor-Afolahan’s outstanding contributions to business development, brand management, and strategic communications.

With over 20 years of experience in banking, oil & gas, and media, Egabor-Afolahan has been instrumental in expanding News Central’s reach and revenue since joining the network in 2018 as Commercial Lead.

Her leadership has secured key partnerships, positioned the brand for growth, and successfully onboarded the network onto major satellite platforms, increasing its visibility across sub-Saharan Africa.

Egabor-Afolahan’s impressive credentials include an MSc in Media and Communications from Pan-Atlantic University and a BSc in Marketing from Covenant University.

She is also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Chartered Institute of Public Relations UK, with advanced strategy development certifications from Lagos Business School.
