PRIMATE AYODELE: OBI CAN’T WIN IN 2027

In a recent video on YouTube, Prominent Nigerian cleric, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has declared that Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 elections, Peter Obi, will not emerge as president in 2027.

The spiritual leader made this declaration while addressing his followers, stressing that no matter the level of support Obi commands, he is not destined to lead Nigeria.
“Obi will never be president in 2027,” Ayodele stated emphatically. “Obi, forget. Let them be obedient. One billion obedient, three billion obedient, it will not change what God has decided.”
According to the cleric, even if Obi were to assume leadership of the country, the consequences would be disastrous. He explained that Nigeria would face an unimaginable level of turmoil under his administration.

“If Obi ruled this country, this country will turn upside down triple million times. Not triple hundred, triple million billion times,” Ayodele declared. “Because God did not give the power to Obi. Obi will get there, but there will be confusion. He is not the answer to Nigerians.”

Ayodele’s remarks come at a time when political realignments are already beginning ahead of the 2027 general elections. The Labour Party, buoyed by the performance of Obi in the 2023 polls, has been positioning itself as a strong alternative to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the main opposition, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Obi, who finished third in the 2023 presidential race, continues to enjoy widespread support among his youthful base known as the “Obidient Movement.”

However, Ayodele insisted that sheer numbers or popularity will not translate into political victory for Obi. “It doesn’t matter how many people are obedient, the power has not been given to him,” he said.
The cleric’s pronouncement is consistent with his long history of political prophecies, many of which often stir debate within Nigeria’s political and religious circles. His comments are likely to further fuel discussions on the country’s political future and the prospects of emerging opposition leaders.
