9ICE RECALLS NICE DAYS

Veteran Nigerian singer 9ice has opened up about his early years in the music industry, reflecting on fame, friendship, and how success once surrounded him with familiar faces.

In a resurfaced interview clip making rounds online, the Gongo Aso crooner recalled the golden era of his career when he dominated charts and sold out shows across Nigeria and beyond.

When I was on top, everybody was with me. Cabasa was with me, Jahbless, 2Phat — they all used to go on tour with me,” 9ice recounted, reminiscing about his vibrant beginnings under the Coded Tunes label.

He noted that during his rise to fame, his crew — including producer ID Cabasa and fellow artists Jahbless and 2Phat — were always part of his journey, joining him on shows and tours that defined his early success.

Fans have reacted emotionally to the clip, with many praising 9ice for acknowledging those who contributed to his success, while others pointed out how easily relationships in the entertainment industry fade when the spotlight díms.
