NBC HOSTS GLOBE FM

The Globe Broadcasting and Communications Limited, was today, 7th February, 2024, at the Commission’s Headquarters on its first official visit.

The team was led by Mr. Ugochukwu Enwereji in charge of special projects. The visit was to congratulate the Director General on his appointment and foster partnership and collaboration with the NBC.

Mr. Ugochukwu Enwereji  in his address, thanked the Director General and management of the commission for the privilege of this visit. He stated that they were eager to explore potential partnerships and collaboration opportunities with the commission.

Mr. Ugochukwu added that, the combined strength and expertise of the Commission and Globe Broadcasting will effectively contribute to the advancement of broadcast standards, innovations in advertisement strategies and a seamless transition towards a digital broadcast era.

He also assured the DG and Management of the Commission that Globe broadcasting is committed to supporting the NBC’s mission to promote professionalism, diversity, and inclusivity in broadcasting, while, ensuring the public’s access to reliable and high-quality information.

The Director General, Mr. Charles Ebuebu, in his welcome, expressed appreciation to the Globe Broadcasting for the visit. He promised to set up a Committee to look at possibilities in areas of collaboration.

He used the opportunity to commensurate with Broadcaster on the loss of one of its staff, Mrs Deborah  Ohamarah. He prayed that God will console  her family, the entire organization and grant them the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable  loss.
