Anyway, whatever she sings notwithstanding, what she sang on Saturday at King Charles III and Queen Camilla’s Coronation Concert East Lawn at Windsor Castle was evident of her global stature. I watched and watched and almost regretted my phobia for her generation of musicians whose stuff fail to connect with my soul. Well, maybe my body after few wraps of pointed yam accompanied by egusi and correct beef and ponmon. Her performance–in her angelic voice–touched my skin and made me proud again as a Nigerian of Yoruba blood.
