ANEKE RETIRES FROM NBC

The National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has bid farewell to its Director, Special Duties, Mr. Stanislus Onyebuchi Aneke, who retired after a distinguished career spanning several decades.

Aneke’s retirement ceremony was held on March 3, 2025, at the Commission’s Headquarters.

Aneke, a seasoned broadcasting professional, joined the NBC in 2000 and played a key role in shaping the Commission’s research and policy initiatives.

His contributions to the development of the broadcasting industry in Nigeria are immeasurable, and his legacy will continue to inspire future generations of broadcasting professionals.

The NBC Director General, Mr. Charles Ebuebu, who led the Commission’s Management and Staff in celebrating Aneke’s remarkable career, in his speech, praised Aneke’s dedication, hard work, and commitment to excellence, which had earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues.

Aneke, in his response, thanked the NBC Management and Staff for their support and camaraderie throughout his career.

He also advised the staff to prioritize love, unity, and personal development, which he believed were essential for success in their careers and personal lives.
